Every athlete who trains at DRP follows the same progression. You cannot skip a level. Click any tier to learn what it means and why it comes in this order.
This is where training meets the sport. Once every layer below is solid, we layer in movements, decisions, and skills specific to the athlete’s position and sport. The final edge that separates good athletes from elite ones.
Sport-specific training on an underdeveloped foundation produces technical skill without the capacity to execute it. We build athletes from the ground up so when they arrive here, they can actually perform at full potential.
Power is strength expressed quickly. Once an athlete can produce force, we train them to produce it fast — jumps, sprints, reactive drills, and plyometric sequences that translate directly to athletic performance.
Most programs rush to power too early. If an athlete cannot move cleanly under load, adding speed creates faster, more explosive injuries. Power at DRP only begins when the strength layer underneath is verified and locked in.
Strength is the ability to produce force against resistance. Total-body compound movements — squats, hinges, presses, pulls — performed with precision under increasing load. Structural resilience means the body can absorb physical stress without breaking down.
An athlete earns the right to add weight by demonstrating clean movement at their current level. Movement quality is the only currency that buys more load. This is the non-negotiable at the center of the DRP system.
Work capacity is the ability to sustain output over time. A fourth-quarter athlete performs the same in the final minutes as the first. Muscular endurance means the body can repeat high-quality contractions without failing.
Athletes who skip this layer look strong in short bursts but fall apart as the game wears on. Technique degrades under fatigue and injuries spike. Endurance is about building a system that sustains what the upper levels demand.
Every athlete who comes through DRP’s doors — regardless of age, size, sport, or experience — begins here. Movement quality means the ability to squat, hinge, push, pull, lunge, and stabilize using only bodyweight with clean mechanics on every rep.
A building without a foundation does not stand. An athlete without body awareness and movement quality is an injury waiting to happen — no matter how strong or fast they are. This is the non-negotiable first step at DRP. If it is not solid, nothing built on top of it will last.
